Moving the Fret
Yes I know it's been a while since you fretters got to read the best blog on fretshirt.com - yes it's the only blog but that still makes it the best - but we at Fretshirt HQ haven't been sitting around like space cats. Rather, we've been ridiculously busy shifting ourselves from one place to another.
Yes, that's right, we're moving. Not far, so it should have been easy right?
Wrong!
Well, you know how they say moving home is one of the most stressful things you can do? I really don't think they even considered moving a warehouse, a production chain, networked technology, and a sublimation press that's the size of a car, only much, much, much heavier.
Then, there's systems that were once happy to talk to each other, no longer even wanting to be connected, re-directing suppliers, couriers, postal services, and so on. All of which we carefully planned for, and which should have gone as smooth as possible, if only everyone had followed, or even paid attention, to those plans.
Oh, and we also upgraded several of our systems too, which naturally added to the "fun".
Still, we did it - almost - and are now getting settled in. A few teething troubles here and there to be expected, but thankfully, despite all the trials and tribulations we, pretty much, managed to keep production rolling, if a touch slower than we would have liked.
All of this has meant we've not been coming up with as many new designs either - which is why this blog entry is illustrated by some classics - but don't worry - or indeed Fret - about that, as it is going to change very soon, with, what else but Brexit.
Yes, finally - some would say - we have let our designer loose on the United Kingdom leaving the European Union, shortly before it happens - or not - at the end of next month.
That should give you something to look forward to, or you could just pop over to the Great Britain theme page, and see them for yourself.
Until We Fret Again.
